What are Bugs?
Bugs are a system that allow you to make use of duplicates of units. When you enhance a unit with another of the same name (stars do not matter), it will increase the bug number by 1. Other information on bugs:
- The number of bugs on your FIRST unit in your party affects the % chance you will receive bonus eggs when completing a mission. This is additive for each player in multiplayer, and everyone shares bonuses. So, if player 2 gets a bonus egg, all players receive that egg. If all players get a bonus egg, that's 4 bonus eggs for everyone!
- Once 6-star forms arrive, for Wizard-level event units, obtaining a minimum of 30 bugs will unlock their extra ability.
- Units are limited in the maximum number of bugs by their star level. 5-star units can have a maximum of 75 bugs. 6-star units can have 99 bugs.
- Units at 99 bugs will always get 2 bonus eggs every time, guaranteed!
- Bugs are saved even when you awaken your unit, and multiple can be added at once.
- Most characters can be safely combined for bugs. Some extremely rare ones, like festival units, may be kept as multiple copies, so that you can use them together. If the unit is not a festival unit or panel generator, then it will likely not be useful to have multiples.
